Fun facts
It originates from Eastern Africa, thanks to which it can tolerate shorter periods of drought without any problems. In autumn and winter you can notice the leaves turning yellow, which often the case with well-kept plants, too. But there’s no reason to worry, as in many cases it is a natural phenomenon. Cut the yellowing stems back and put the plant in a cool place, protected from frost. In spring it will sprout again. With the heating season starting, leaf fall can also be caused by the over-dryness of indoor air, so it is worth humidifying more, possibly using a wet gravel bed as well.
